For me, Ang Paboritong Lugar ni Nanay book has a sort of magic. It made both my parents felt nostalgic after reading this book. All that’s written in the book felt like went alive as my parents happily shared their childhood stories. I want to experience those things too!

The book is about the Mother’s story of her childhood memories in her favorite place as narrated by her child. In that place, there were makahiya, amorseko, dragonflies, beetles, santan flowers, big trees and fireflies. She can even fly a kite!

What I liked best is how the story and the illustrations complement each other to create a clear image of the mother’s favorite place.
I like reading this book with my Mommy or Daddy. I wish there are still lots of places where I can play freely with nature.
